This Cookie Policy explains how CreatorHero LLC ("CreatorHero", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on creatorhero.com and related domains (the "Site"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. We also use related technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels (transparent images that load tracking scripts), and server-side identifiers (set as first-party cookies by our server). For simplicity, we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
2. Cookie categories
When you visit the Site for the first time, our cookie banner asks you to choose which categories you allow. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
| Category | Loaded by default | Can be opted in/out | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Yes | No (required for the Site) | Operate the Site, remember your consent choice, support live chat, prevent fraud. |
| Statistics | No | Yes | Measure traffic, understand how features are used, record anonymized session interactions to improve UX. |
| Marketing | No | Yes | Measure ad campaign performance, attribute conversions to ad platforms, build audiences for re-engagement. |
Until you grant consent, advertising and analytics pixels are loaded in cookieless / Consent Mode — they send anonymized pings to measure traffic but do not set marketing or statistics cookies, do not personalize ads, and do not record identifiable session data. Once you accept, full tracking is enabled.

|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au | Google Ads | Conversion-attribution for Google Ads campaigns. | 90 days |
_uetsid, _uetvid | Microsoft Bing Ads (UET) | Conversion measurement and remarketing on Microsoft Advertising. | 24 hours / 16 months |

_rdt_uuid | Reddit Pixel | Conversion measurement on Reddit Ads. | 90 days |
test_cookie | Google (.doubleclick.net) | Checks whether your browser allows cookies for Google Ads. | Session |
We also use localStorage keys (touches, gclid, gbraid, fbclid, rdt_cid, ttclid, msclkid) to remember the source of your visit (UTM parameters and ad-platform click IDs) for first-touch / last-touch attribution. These are stored only with Marketing consent and remain until you clear your browser storage.
4. Microsoft Clarity (session-replay analytics)
Microsoft Clarity is loaded on every visit in cookieless mode — it does not record sessions or set cookies until you grant Statistics consent. Once you consent, Clarity records anonymized interactions on the Site (mouse movement, scrolls, clicks, page navigation) so we can identify usability issues. Clarity automatically masks input fields by default, and we do not enable any feature that records keystrokes in form fields. You can read Microsoft's privacy practices here.
5. Enhanced Conversions (hashed personal data sent to ad platforms)
When you submit a form on the Site (e.g. requesting a demo) and you have granted Marketing consent, we send a SHA-256 hash of your email address and (where provided) phone number to Google Ads and Microsoft Bing Ads so they can match your conversion to a prior ad click. Plain-text email and phone are not transmitted to these advertising platforms — only the irreversible hash. Hashing happens in your browser before transmission.
This allows us to measure ad performance accurately when third-party cookies are blocked. It is conditioned on your Marketing consent and you can withdraw it at any time via the cookie settings link.
6. Managing your cookie preferences
- Cookie banner — open the "Cookie settings" link in the footer to change your choice at any time.
- Browser controls — most browsers let you block or delete cookies via Settings:
- Mobile — use your device's advertising / privacy settings to limit ad personalisation.
- Opt-out networks — Your Online Choices (EU), NAI (US), DAA (US).
Withdrawing Statistics or Marketing consent reloads our analytics layer; existing cookies in those categories are no longer set going forward, but cookies already on your device may persist until they expire — clear them via your browser if you want them removed immediately.
7. International data transfers
Several cookie providers listed above are based in the United States or other countries outside the EEA / UK. Transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (2021/914) and, where applicable, supplementary measures. See our Privacy Policy for details.
